Jetting Assistant

We are delighted to announce a major new contract win with Welsh Water, supporting them over the next four years and beyond, delivering proactive and reactive maintenance of their Wastewater Network.

We’re now recruiting a Jetting Assistant to join our North and Central Wales teams. You’ll support an HGV Jetting Operative with high‑pressure jetting work and deliver excellent customer service across the region. This is a great opportunity to build a long‑term career with Lanes Group.

Salary: up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience

Location: Kinmel Bay

Hours: 47.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HGV Jetting Operative in setting up and operating high‑pressure water jetting equipment
  • Carry out inspections to identify blockages, leaks and other issues
  • Complete site documentation using an electronic tablet
  • Work safely and follow approved method statements and procedures
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  • Wear and look after all required PPE


Experience & Training

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Previous experience within the drainage industry would be highly advantageous

Full training provided in:

  • Water Jetting Association (Red or Blue Book)
  • Banksman
  • NRSWA
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene
  • Medium‑risk confined space
