As a Jet Vac Operator, you will play a vital role in providing essential maintenance and cleaning services for wastewater and sewer systems. Responsibilities

• Operate jet/vac trucks to clean and maintain sewer lines, storm drains, catch basins, and other wastewater systems.
• Safely navigate to job sites and operate equipment in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections of jet/vac trucks, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any issues.
• Operate high-pressure water jets and vacuum systems to remove debris, roots, and blockages from pipelines.
• Work closely with team members to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently.
• Properly dispose of wastewater and debris collected during cleaning operations in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure effective operation.
• Document work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors, clients, and colleagues regarding job progress and any concerns.

Qualifications

• Commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, etc.).
• Proven experience in operating jet/vac trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with wastewater systems, sewer maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address equipment issues.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
