We are looking to hire a Production Chief (Assembly) to join our team at Santa Rosa, Querétaro.


What you can look forward as Production Chief (Assembly):

  • Lead and execute production plans aligned with MPS, ensuring daily schedule adherence and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, and New Programs to ensure operational continuity.
  • Perform root cause analysis for internal/external quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan and support preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing unplanned downtime.
  • Manage line planning for production launches and engineering changes, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Monitor and optimize production KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, on-time delivery) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Control operational costs, manage budgets, and implement cost reduction strategies to improve productivity.
  • Conduct and analyze internal audits (LPA, 5S, process audits) and lead action plans for compliance and performance improvement.

Your profile as Production Chief (Assembly):

  • Education – Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Specific experience
  • 3+ years in a similar position
  • Experience managing people 2+ years
  • English – Conversational (for reporting meetings)
  • Position on a fixed shift, but requires availability to rotate shifts occasionally based on operational needsProblem-solving skills (Six Sigma, Yellow Belt desirable)
  • Experience with ERP systems (QAD is a plus)
