Job Description

As a Jeep Brand Product Manager, you play a key role in shaping and delivering the vehicle by translating insights into well-defined product solutions. You will contribute to product direction through analysis, creativity, and informed recommendations, while owning the detailed execution of the product definition.

This role blends critical thinking with disciplined execution—challenging assumptions, developing data-driven proposals, and refining product content to meet customer needs and business objectives. Working closely with the Senior Product Lead and cross-functional teams, you ensure the product is clearly defined, competitive, and ready for successful market delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Definition & Content Ownership

  • Own the detailed product “grid” (trims, features, options, packages, configurations)
  • Ensure all product elements are accurately defined, aligned, and maintained throughout the program lifecycle
  • Manage change control and ensure updates are reflected consistently across systems and teams
  • Evaluate and recommend adjustments to features, pricing inputs, and configurations to improve value and competitiveness
  • Ensure product decisions are implemented accurately and consistently across the program

Data, Analysis & Business Case Support

  • Prepare detailed inputs, data, and documentation for program reviews and governance forums ensuring all materials are accurate, complete, and aligned to program status
  • Support tracking of KPIs, milestones, and launch readiness activities
  • Develop and maintain volume, mix, and take-rate assumptions to support financial targets
  • Analyze customer data, competitive benchmarks, and internal inputs to inform content recommendations
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in product assumptions and escalate appropriately

Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure product definition is feasible, cost-aligned, and executable
  • Track progress against milestones and ensure timely delivery of product inputs required for program execution
  • Support issue resolution by gathering data, clarifying impacts, and coordinating updates

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Planning, Engineering, Finance, or related areas
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Automotive experience or strong product knowledge
  • Experience working with product data, configurations, or financial assumptions
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear, structured recommendations
