5. Key Responsibilities –
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain JDE E1 applications using Applications, UBEs, CBSFNs, and NERs.
• Utilize BI Publisher for report design, development, and integration with JDE E1.
• Leverage Orchestrator Studio and Groovy scripting to automate and streamline business processes within JD Edwards.
• Implement form personalization and form extensions to enhance user experience and accommodate business requirements.
• Develop and manage composite pages, E1 Pages, and User Defined Objects (UDOs) for optimized user navigation and accessibility.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within the JDE E1 environment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure quality and compliance with best practices.
• Experience with BSSV is a plus, including the creation and consumption of web services within JD Edwards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a JDE E1 Developer with a strong understanding of the JDE E1 toolset (Applications, UBEs, CBSFNs, NERs).
• Hands-on experience with BI Publisher for reporting and data output.
• Proficiency in Orchestrator Studio and Groovy scripting for process automation.
• Knowledge of form personalization and form extension techniques in JDE E1.
• Ability to develop and manage composite pages, E1 Pages, and UDOs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with BSSV is a significant advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and with end-users to deliver business solutions.
• Familiarity with ERP business processes and JD Edwards modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• Certification in JD Edwards or related Oracle technologies is a plus.
