A warm, professional family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced, proactive Live-In Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their children and assist with the day-to-day running of the household. The family currently has a nanny on staff, and the new hire will work collaboratively alongside her. They are looking for someone warm, genuine, and low-maintenance in approach. They are seeking a true forever person, someone who fits naturally into the household, works well alongside existing staff without ego or competitiveness, and brings a caring, easygoing spirit along with a strong skill set.
The family values being flexible on schedule details until the right candidate is found, with a general range of 40 to 50 hours per week. Days are open and can flex around the right candidate's needs, potentially running Monday through Friday with weekend flexibility, or a Tuesday through Saturday structure, depending on what works best once hired. This is intended to be a long-term placement, and the family is open to relocation for the right candidate.
