The Precision Fires and Maneuver (PF&M) product area is seeking a Financial Analyst (P2) to join the Javelin Joint Venture & Maneuver Systems finance team. This role supports financial planning and analysis for both programs. It offers a unique opportunity to work on a fast-moving growth area and the opportunity to work on products in all stages of development.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Program Management and cross-functional teams to manage financial performance and provide critical insights into program execution. This hybrid position operates out of Tucson, AZ with significant opportunities for interaction across finance, supply chain, engineering, operations, contracts, and program management, requiring strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
What You Will Do
Support Financial Planning & Analysis efforts including Weekly / Monthly Business Reviews, Monthly Financial Forecast Updates, New Business Initiatives (NBI), Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and Long-Range Plans (LRP)
Provide financial transparency through clear and consistent communications with Program and PF&M teams
Assist with Javelin Joint Venture billings & receipts forecasts
Collaborate with Supply Chain to achieve financial and contractual commitments
Analyze labor and material cost variances to provide actionable insights
Support the Program Management Office (PMO) in maintaining accurate financial forecasts and staffing plans
Gain exposure to and assist in Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management efforts
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years applicable Finance experience
Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting and/or variance analysis
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Word
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to meet critical deadlines and implement practical solutions. Experience identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements
Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar platforms
Self-motivated and proactive in seeking process improvements and analytical insights with ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Estimates at Completion (EAC), and Earned Value (EV) methodologies
Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
