Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications using modern frameworks and practices
• Build and evolve microservices architectures ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs adhering to industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, and DevOps engineers
• Contribute to system design, technical decisions, and architectural improvements
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices adoption
• Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production systems
• Share knowledge within the chapter

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Java (Java 21)
• Strong expertise with Spring Boot and other related frameworks
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and API design principles
• Proven experience with Microservices Architecture
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, repos, boards)
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (code, testing, design patterns)
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Spring Integration
• Experience with Kafka (event-driven architecture, messaging systems)
• Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to security and compliance practices in banking environments
• Familiarity with cloud environments
• Familiarity of Payments Domain

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement java/j2ee applications and restful services based on business requirements.
2. Architect and lead the development of scalable and secure solutions using spring boot.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze technical requirements and recommend solutions.
4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
5. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of applications.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in java/j2ee, restful services, and spring boot development.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in java/j2ee technologies such as jsp, servlets, jpa, hibernate, etc.
2. Strong experience in developing restful apis and microservices using spring boot framework.
3. Handson expertise in designing and implementing scalable architecture solutions.
4. Good understanding of databases (sql and nosql) and orm frameworks.
5. Familiarity with devops practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
7. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Java/J2EE, SpringBoot, or related technologies are a plus.
