Job Description

We are looking to hire a "Java Technical Lead" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in JAVA/JEE development
• Experience in web services (REST/SOAP), Spring, JPA/Hibernate, XML
• Exposure in: Play Framework, SSO, LDAP, Oracle 11g, Cassandra, ELK, Linux, Bash Scripting
• Capability of understanding and designing software architecture
• Knowledge and understanding of industrial best practices in software development
• Thorough knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Experience in enterprise-level open-source web development frameworks
• Being familiar with the healthcare domain will be an added advantage
• Experience in JIRA and agile-based methodologies such as scrum will be an added advantage
• Strong analytical, problem solving and time-management skills
• Good written communication and public relations skills
• Building up and leading teams to the success of the organization

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Java developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high standards of technical excellence and project delivery.
• Architect and design scalable, high-performance, and maintainable Java-based applications and systems.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, conduct code reviews, and implement continuous improvement processes.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables. Monitor project progress and address any technical issues that arise.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and UX/UI designers to integrate and deliver end-to-end solutions.
