Job Description

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients

Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 5 - 20 LPA)

Min Experience: 3+ years

Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a Java Technical Consultant with strong experience in Core Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms and a strong understanding of the banking domain, with the ability to work on complex technical solutions in a product-oriented environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop robust and high-performance backend services aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build and deploy enterprise applications.
  • Apply banking domain knowledge to understand business requirements and deliver relevant technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to analyze requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
  • Follow best practices for coding, application architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Core Java development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Banking domain experience is mandatory.
  • Experience working in a product-based company would be an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
