Job Description


As a Java Solution Architect (Azure & Microservices), you will:

  • Define and design end-to-end solution architecture for backend services, APIs, and data flows.

  • Architect and implement scalable microservices-based systems using Java and Azure cloud.

  • Develop high-level and low-level design documents, including architecture diagrams and data models.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and cloud governance frameworks.

  • Guide development teams to ensure consistent implementation of architectural principles.

  • Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code quality assessments.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Java, microservices, and Azure-based backend technologies.

  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and security stakeholders to deliver solutions.

  • Design and enforce API standards, security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), and best practices.

  • Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or Azure Event Hub.

  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., financial domain standards).

  • Incorporate monitoring, logging, observability, and resilience patterns into system design.

  • Break down complex requirements into clear, actionable technical deliverables.

  • Drive scalability, performance optimization, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Advanced expertise in Java (17+) and enterprise backend development.

  • Strong experience designing microservices and cloud-native architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps pipelines.

  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design and API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).

  • Experience implementing API security (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).

  • Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka / Azure Event Hub).

  • Familiarity with distributed systems concepts such as load balancing, caching, and fault tolerance.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git-based workflows.

  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks (DDD, C4 model, TOGAF).

  • Understanding of compliance and security standards in financial environments.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Anticipate risks and design systems for long-term scalability and maintainability.
