** 2 days per week in office.

The Opportunity:

You will coach and oversee a team developing a leading EHR for the US behavioral healthcare market. You will mentor and guide the team, enabling them to collaborate on good design decisions and implement code with technical and process excellence. You will act as a subject matter expert working with other departments and teams.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Take a hands-on approach, leading a self-organizing Scrum team, ensuring process excellence.

  • Oversee the team, including regular meetings with team members and doing performance appraisals.

  • Take a leading role in systems and solutions design.

  • Mentor the team members in areas of architecture, design, and process best practices.

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner for providing high-level planning.

  • Lead the team in backlog refinement and estimation.

  • Contribute to a continuous improvement mindset within engineering.

  • Ensure best practices and coding standards, including code reviews.

  • Represent the team and communicate team activities and issues in leadership meetings.

  • Contribute to software development.


Qualifications

  • Advanced English level.

  • Experience leading software development teams.

  • Solid experience developing end-user applications and back-end services.

  • Proficiency developing Java/J2EE web applications, Spring too.

  • Knowledge of Oracle or similar SQL database.

  • Familiar with scalable software performance and operability.

  • Agile experience, Scrum or similar.
