MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. JOB PURPOSE

TheprogrammersareresponsiblefordirectsupportofAMOS (AdvancedOperatingSystem)includinginternalfunctionality and interfaces with any external systems. Support includes development of user applications, bug fixes, andmodification/enhancementstoexistingfunctions,testing,systemdocumentation,andad-hocdatagathering/queries

ProgrammerssupportMPACorporateusers,MPAPartsDistributionCenters,MRC,andother SubsidiariesusingUSAMOS.SupportmayrequirecoordinationwiththesystemsteamatHQ.Supporthoursmayextendbeyondnormalbusiness hours at MPA Corporate offices to support users in different time zones and countries or coordinate withstaffinKorea.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 1st Develop design specification based on business user requirements 20%
• 2nd Program development 30%
• 3rd Troubleshoot system problems 20%
• 4th Testing of new/modified programs 15%
• 5th Ad Hoc data gathering/queries 15%

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Under limited supervision perform the functions of a Team Leader on small projects.
• Gather user requirements
• Develop design specifications
• Program devel
• Create test plans, test cases and perform unit, integration and parallel testing of all processes.
• Pretesting and bug fix prior to release for UAT
• Coordinate testing with clients and verify accuracy of test results
• Perform quality control of programs and system changes prior to implementation
• Implement project installations to production
• Monitor daily operations, programs, batch processing and system processing
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot daily operations, programs and system problems
• Operation program & logic research and documentation
• Provide support to operational staff for error resolution

WORK SCHEDULE

• This is a full-time, on-site position in Fountain Valley, CA.
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor'sdegree inComputerScienceorarelatedfieldisrequiredorequivalentcombinationofeducationandworkexperienceanddemonstratedskills.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 7 years of system design/programming experience with the Java platform and the Java EE Application Servers including Restful Web Services and APIs.
• Android development experience optional but highly preferred
• Operating Systems: AIX, Linux, (or other UNIX), Windows Server.
• Databases: DB2, MySQL, (or other similar RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL)
• Software & Languages : Java, J2EE, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Applications : WebSphere, Tomcat, (or other Web Application Server such as Apache), FTP, Email
• Tools : Microsoft office, VISIO, Change Management, Jira, Eclipse, CVS (or other version control software)

Compensation - The expected hiring range for this position is $71,893.32 - 106,406.56, depending on experience and qualifications.
