Job Description

Murex is a global fintech leader in trading, risk management and processing solutions for capital markets.

Operating from our 19 offices, 3 400 Murexians from over 65 different nationalities ensure the development, implementation and support of our platform which is used by banks, asset managers, corporations and utilities, across the world.

Join Murex and work on the challenges of an industry at the forefront of innovation and thrive in a people-centric environment. You’ll be part of one global team where you can learn fast and stay true to yourself.

Your Team

The Murex Integration team connects the Murex platform to our Capital Markets clients' information systems. As our clients' trusted IT partners from pre-sales to production support, we combine software engineering with hands-on client delivery.

This is a development and consulting role with a focus to build integration components in Java, but always to solve a client need: understanding systems, diagnosing issues and keeping production services reliable matter as much as writing code.

Your Role

With training and senior support, you will:

  • Turn client requirements into working integrations: analyze functional specifications, design the technical solution and build interfaces, reports and batch processes
  • Own quality from build to production: test, deploy, document and maintain your solutions, using automation, TDD and CI/CD to catch issues early
  • Support clients in production: diagnose and resolve incidents from first report to validation through all channels (phone, email, CRM, on-site), and proactively follow up on client satisfaction
  • Contribute to implementation projects: deliver interfaces to peripheral systems, e.g. trading execution platforms, clearing and core banking systems, as well as reporting solutions and trade migrations
  • Share and grow expertise: validate solutions with peers, feed product improvements back to the development center, train clients and partners, and continuously develop your Murex knowledge and your functional, technical and leadership skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in software projects, in development, integration or technical support
