Job Description

Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications with a strong front-end component using React.js. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering scalable, responsive, and innovative solutions that meet business needs. Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

• Java (version 8 or higher) — proven experience in developing robust back-end applications

• React.js — strong skills in creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces

• Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Struts — deep knowledge of building and managing enterprise applications

• Development tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans — proficiency in at least one IDE for Java development

• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server — basic understanding of database design, querying, and management

• Version Control: Git — experience managing code repositories within collaborative development environments

Preferred Software Skills:

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP — familiarity with deploying and managing applications in cloud environments

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, or similar — experience in automation and continuous integration/deployment

• Front-end technologies: TypeScript, HTML5, CSS — additional skills to improve front-end development

• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes — experience in containerizing applications for deployment

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure back-end services using Java and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate

• Build and enhance user interfaces using React.js, ensuring a responsive and engaging user experience

• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices in development

• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance for robustness and scalability

• Write detailed technical documentation, including API specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment instructions

• Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve system architecture

Experience Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of professional experience in full-stack Java application development

• Experience developing enterprise-grade applications integrating front-end React.js and back-end Java frameworks

• Proven ability to build and deploy RESTful APIs, handling complex data interactions

• Familiarity with cloud deployment, containerization, and automation processes is a plus

• Demonstrated capability to participate in agile teams, conduct code reviews, and deliver high-quality results

Day-to-Day Activities

• Code, test, and maintain back-end Java services and front-end React.js components

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver features

• Conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability, performance, and security standards

• Troubleshoot system issues, optimize application performance, and implement enhancements

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support agile delivery

• Review and update technical documentation, including API specifications and architecture diagrams

• Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in full-stack development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

• 4+ years of relevant experience in full-stack development with Java and React.js

• Proven experience in building scalable web applications and REST APIs

• Experience working in agile environments and managing collaborative projects

• Certifications in Java development, React.js, or related tools are a plus
