We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design and build cloud-ready, microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate has strong backend development skills with modern Java frameworks, hands-on microservices and container orchestration experience, working knowledge of front-end frameworks, and familiarity with AWS and DevOps toolchains.
7+ years of experience designing and developing applications using Java 8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
2+ years of hands-on experience building microservices with Spring Boot and developing/consuming REST APIs.
Strong expertise in ORM frameworks such as JPA / Hibernate.
Practical experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
2+ years working with a modern UI framework (Angular or React).
1+ years designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda).
Good experience with RDBMS systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
Strong familiarity with DevOps toolchain components (Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven or Gradle, Git or Bitbucket).
Solid understanding of core technical concepts including security, transactions, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Experience implementing OAuth using Ping Identity.
Familiarity with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee) and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).
Experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Experience with message-queue based architectures.
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Scripting experience with Unix shell and/or Python.
Quick learner with the ability to adopt new technologies and tools.
Able to work independently and contribute to project success.
Comfortable participating in technical discussions to understand design, build processes, and deployment activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
AWS certification is preferred.
