Java FSD -(CREQ256381)
We are looking for 5years to 8 years experienced Java FSD to build, enhance, and maintain business-critical applications for Depositary Services. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on cloud-native development, modern Java stack, and AI-assisted software delivery in a fast-paced financial environment. Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java 17 (Spring Boot). Build responsive UI using React (JavaScript/TypeScript). Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices. Perform code reviews and contribute to code quality improvements. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. Develop and deploy applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC). Work with databases: PostgreSQL (Aurora) & MySQL (RDS)Containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes (EKS)Strong experience in Java 17/21 + Spring Boot. Hands-on experience with React (JS/TypeScript). Solid understanding of REST APIs & microservices. Strong experience in AWS services, Experience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS). CI/CD tools: Jenkins / GitLab CI, Version control: Git (branching strategies), Strong SQL skills, Experience with PostgreSQL & MySQL, Schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, Proficiency in VS Code with relevant extensions, Experience with at least 2 tools:Dyntrace, Splunk, cloudwatch,geneos, Hands-on experience with: Github copilot , Anthropic Claude (for coding, analysis, refactoring), Strong prompt engineering skills, Understanding of AI risks, security, and best practices, Experience in Financial Services / Depositary / Custody domain, Messaging systems: Kafka / ActiveMQ, Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform / CloudFormation, Knowledge of: API Gateway patterns, Microway Architecture, Experience with VS Code Dev Containers / Remote SSH, Experience with Advanced observability practices
