Location Cebu City

Your Responsibilities:

Take ownership of existing Kotlin-based enterprise applications and understand system architecture and functionality.
Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production defects.
Perform library upgrades, patching, and security fixes to address vulnerabilities and maintain system integrity.
Develop and enhance backend features for UI-driven applications based on functional requirements.
Write and execute comprehensive unit tests to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
Support continuous improvement of system performance, stability, and scalability.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin development with deep understanding of frameworks and libraries.
Strong experience in Java backend development using Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
Hands-on experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
Solid understanding of enterprise application development, debugging, and production support.
Experience in code maintenance, security patching, and dependency management in production systems.
Preferred experience in React.js development for supporting UI integration.
Preferred strong Java development experience beyond backend maintenance.
Preferred experience in Android application development and maintenance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to code quality and testing.
