Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide consultative feedback, technical requirement development/review, and informed insights on typical development scenarios:
    • Object-oriented
      • Net
      • Java
      • ADA/Smalltalk
    • Procedural Language
      • Cobol
      • C
      •  GL (Visual Basic)
    • High level understanding on the following architecture domains, plus deep knowledge in at least one of them:
      • Data Application
      • System Integration
      • Infrastructure
      • Security
    • Modern Architecture such as:
      • J2EE
      • SOA
      • Cloud
      • Mobile
    • Open Source Softwares
      • Product Platform
      • Development Model
      • License policies
    • General Software Engineering
      • Development Methodologies
      • Testing Approaches
      • Estimating Models
    • Agile development

TO QUALIFY:
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant IT or Operations experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Management experience in specific Technology platforms or products:
    • Software or Application Development and Integration
    • Packaged Application Products - SAP, Oracle, other specialized
    • Testing CoE - Advanced Testing
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in at least 3 of the following activities:
    • Interpreting the market
    • Develop new capabilities - Build new skills
      • Incubate new technology delivery teams
      • Develop assets and accelerators around products or services
    • Develop market alignment plans and drive demand pipeline with alliances
    • Support sales processes with Technology Acumen
    • Budget and Program Management
    • Design and implement up skill programs for existing skill pools
  • Preferred technical background in SAP, Oracle, Web or Cloud Applications, Integration and Testing
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Familiar with IT market dynamics in particular, technologies that are hot in the industry or market
  • Willing to travel for short term seminars and client presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Technology certification is a plus
