Job Description

Synechron is looking for a proficient Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications that support organizational business goals. The Java Developer will contribute by writing clean, efficient code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Software Requirements

Required:

• Java programming language (Java 8 or higher) with strong hands-on experience

• Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Struts — solid working knowledge required

• Java development tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans — practical experience with at least one IDE

• Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server — experience in design, implementation, and management

Preferred:

• Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG)

• Exposure to containerization or cloud deployment (optional)

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable Java applications aligned with business requirements

• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to design software solutions that balance performance and maintainability

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner ensuring system stability

• Keep informed on latest advancements in Java and related technologies, applying relevant updates to projects

• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Conducting unit and integration testing to validate application accuracy and performance

• Staying updated with current Java trends and integrating relevant advancements into work practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred

• Professional Java certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer) are advantageous
