Job Description

MCS is looking for a skilled Java Developer (Backend) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have 5 - 7 years of experience in backend development using Java (version 8 and above) and Spring Boot. You will be responsible for building and maintaining microservices-based applications deployed on AWS ECS, with a strong focus on containerization using Docker. Experience working in Agile teams and proficiency with tools like Jira and Bitbucket is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture on AWS ECS.
• Containerize applications using Docker and ensure smooth deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Utilize Jira for task tracking and Bitbucket for version control.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• - 5- 7 years of experience in backend development.
  
• - Bachelor degree in computer science 
• - Proficiency in Java (version 8 and above).
• - Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework.
• - Hands-on experience with Docker or container technologies.
• - Experience with microservices development on AWS ECS.
• - Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• - Working knowledge of Jira and Bitbucket.
