Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications with scalable and secure backend APIs
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement features
  • Develop responsive, high-quality front-end components using Angular or ReactJS
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices
  • Optimize application performance, security, and responsiveness
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development cycles (sprints)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the backend and frontend
  • Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies to incorporate improvements

Software Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher), including Spring Boot and Spring MVC
  • Expertise in JavaScript, with experience in Angular or ReactJS
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) is a plus
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, npm/yarn, and version control Git
  • Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker; CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable

  • Frontend Development:

    • Angular or ReactJS
    • HTML5, CSS3
    • JavaScript, TypeScript

    • SQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
    • NoSQL databases: MongoDB

  • Web Services & Protocols:

    • REST, JSON, XML

  • Version Control & CI/CD Tools:

    • Git
    • Jenkins
    • Maven or Gradle

  • Containerization & Cloud Platforms:

    • Docker
    • AWS, Azure, GCP (basic knowledge)

  • Testing & Security:

    • JUnit, Mockito
    • OAuth2, JWT (optional)

  • Other Tools & Frameworks:

    • Webpack, npm/yarn
    • Postman

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development with Java and modern front-end frameworks

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Developing new backend APIs and front-end components
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing applications
  • Participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups
  • Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
  • Debugging issues across systems and resolving bugs
  • Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
  • Documenting technical designs and architecture

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in Java, Angular, ReactJS, or cloud platforms are advantageous
