Java Azure Developer

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

We are looking for an experienced Java Azure Developer to join a development team working on modern, cloud-native applications within the banking domain The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot

  • Develop and integrate microservices-based architectures

  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure

  • Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.

  • Apply software engineering best practices for scalable, secure, and reliable applications.

  • Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other technical teams.

  • Troubleshoot application and deployment issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Work within banking/financial services environments, understanding relevant business and technical requirements.

Must-Have Skills

  • 8–10 years of professional software development experience

  • Strong expertise in Core Java

  • Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot

  • Strong experience designing and developing microservices

  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure

  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications.

  • Solid experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

  • Previous experience in the banking/financial services domain

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native application development.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills in English
