Job Description


As a Senior Java AWS Microservices Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

  • Work on hybrid cloud solutions and manage full application stacks in AWS environments.

  • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to design secure, scalable networks, systems, and storage solutions aligned to business requirements.

  • Develop and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and Ansible.

  • Develop and integrate distributed solutions using Kafka, NoSQL, API Gateway, and AWS services such as Glue and Athena.

  • Create and utilize Terraform / AWS CloudFormation templates for infrastructure automation (IaC).

  • Contribute to solution design, hands-on development, and continuous improvement in Agile environments.

  • Support application performance, reliability, and scalability while driving engineering best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8–10 years of overall experience in software development, cloud engineering, or application development.

  • Strong expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, and distributed system design.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.

  • Solid experience with Kafka, Python scripting, NoSQL databases, and API Gateways.

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and Ansible.

  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation) and automation practices.

  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies, software architecture, and problem-solving techniques.

  • Exposure to Retail or Supply Chain domain is an added advantage.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Work across the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment.

  • Solve complex technical challenges with strong analytical and development skills.

  • Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Contribute to innovation, technical excellence, and business-aligned solution delivery.
