Job Role

The Japanese-speaking Enterprise Architecture Consultant is a senior client-facing advisory role responsible for designing and delivering next-generation enterprise technology solutions across cloud infrastructure, storage, data architecture, and AI platforms. Acting as a strategic technology advisor, the role partners directly with enterprise stakeholders to define business challenges, architect scalable IT ecosystems, and coordinate large-scale digital transformation projects.

This position requires a highly consultative professional capable of bridging business strategy with technical execution while collaborating with distributed international engineering teams. The successful candidate will lead enterprise architecture planning across cloud environments, data platforms, AI systems, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Engage directly with enterprise clients to identify business challenges and translate them into scalable technical architecture strategies.
• 
  Design enterprise-level cloud, infrastructure, storage, and AI platform solutions aligned with business transformation goals.
• 
  Lead architecture planning for data-intensive systems including Data Warehouses (DWH), Data Lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and AI-enabled platforms.
• 
  Collaborate with international engineering teams to convert architectural blueprints into executable technical delivery plans.
• 
  Support enterprise modernization projects involving cloud-native systems, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and software-defined storage (SDS).
• 
  Conduct technical workshops, architectural presentations, and strategic consulting sessions with senior client stakeholders.
• 
  Supervise cross-border project governance, quality assurance processes, and system compliance standards.
• 
  Contribute to enterprise cloud transformation initiatives and advanced digital ecosystem implementation.
• 
  Work closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants to ensure successful deployment outcomes.
• 
  Analyze emerging technology trends and recommend scalable digital transformation frameworks for enterprise clients.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• 
  Minimum 3 years of proven experience in enterprise architecture, IT consulting, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale solution design.
• 
  Strong background designing enterprise systems across both infrastructure and application architecture layers.
• 
  Experience working within IT consulting firms, system integrators, enterprise software environments, or digital transformation projects.
• 
  Hands-on understanding of cloud platforms, open-source frameworks, enterprise infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• 
  Strong familiarity with Data Warehousing (DWH), ETL/ELT frameworks, Data Lakes, and AI platform architecture is highly preferred.
• 
  Experience managing offshore or international engineering collaboration environments is highly advantageous.
• 
  Knowledge of Agile methodologies, enterprise architecture frameworks, or certifications such as TOGAF is a plus.
• 
  Excellent stakeholder communication and strategic consulting capability.
• 
  Professional fluency in Japanese is mandatory.
• 
  Business-level English proficiency is required for international collaboration.
• Open for Expatriates (Non-Japanese).
