Job Role

The Japanese-speaking Data Consultant is a strategic and technical consulting role responsible for transforming enterprise data into actionable business intelligence and executive decision-making assets. The position focuses on architecting scalable data pipelines, designing advanced BI dashboards, optimizing analytics workflows, and generating strategic insights from large-scale enterprise datasets.

This role requires a highly analytical professional capable of bridging business strategy with modern data engineering practices while collaborating with multilingual international delivery teams. The successful candidate will work across enterprise analytics initiatives involving BI visualization platforms, cloud-based analytics systems, AI-enabled reporting environments, and self-service data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Partner directly with enterprise stakeholders to align data initiatives with strategic business objectives and operational priorities.
• 
  Design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data pipelines and analytics frameworks.
• 
  Build advanced BI dashboards and executive visualization systems using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• 
  Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover operational insights, business trends, anomalies, and performance optimization opportunities.
• 
  Develop self-service analytics environments that enable business users to independently access and interpret data insights.
• 
  Collaborate with international engineering and consulting teams to deliver enterprise-scale analytics projects.
• 
  Support cross-border data delivery initiatives across multilingual and multi-location environments.
• 
  Contribute to analytics engineering, data governance, reporting standardization, and data quality optimization initiatives.
• 
  Participate in Agile-based project delivery and modern cloud analytics implementation frameworks.
• 
  Support advanced analytics projects involving machine learning, AI platforms, CRM analytics, supply chain analytics, and compliance-related reporting systems.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical disciplines.
• 
  Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data analytics, BI consulting, analytics engineering, or data strategy projects.
• 
  Strong practical experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, or related analytics engineering technologies.
• 
  Proven expertise designing dashboards and reporting systems using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI visualization platforms.
• 
  Experience working within cloud-based analytics environments and Agile project delivery frameworks.
• 
  Practical understanding of data engineering pipelines, analytics architecture, and enterprise reporting ecosystems.
• 
  Exposure to advanced analytics domains such as AI, machine learning, CRM analytics, FCC/AML compliance, financial analytics, or environmental accounting is highly advantageous.
• 
  Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for enterprise consulting and executive stakeholder engagement.
• 
  Proven capability collaborating with international teams and managing cross-functional project coordination.
• 
  Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory.
