Job Role

The Decision Analysis Assistant is a highly analytical and client-facing consulting position responsible for solving complex business challenges through advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and quantitative consulting methodologies. The role combines hands-on analytical execution with stakeholder communication, project coordination, and business consulting activities across multinational client environments.

Working within a fast-paced consulting ecosystem, the successful candidate will transform large-scale datasets into actionable business recommendations using advanced analytics tools and decision science frameworks. This position is designed for professionals seeking long-term growth within a global analytics-driven consulting organization while building expertise in data strategy, client advisory, and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop statistical models, analytical frameworks, and quantitative solutions to support complex business decision-making.

  • Build customized analytics solutions using R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic, Excel, and related analytical platforms.

  • Analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights, executive reports, and strategic business recommendations.

  • Coordinate project timelines, stakeholder communication, reporting updates, and consulting deliverables.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams to implement analytics-driven business solutions.

  • Support predictive analytics initiatives, business intelligence projects, and decision science modeling activities.

  • Translate complex quantitative findings into clear business language for executive stakeholders and clients.

  • Participate in client-facing discussions, workshops, and strategic consulting engagements.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of consulting methodologies, reporting frameworks, and analytical best practices.

  • Support enterprise transformation projects through data-driven operational and commercial insights.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, or related quantitative disciplines.

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in analytics consulting, decision analysis, statistical modeling, business intelligence, or quantitative strategy roles.

  • Proven experience managing client-facing analytical projects and delivering strategic recommendations through quantitative insights.

  • Strong proficiency in R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic, and advanced Excel modeling.

  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, decision science, and business analytics frameworks.

  • Ability to transform complex datasets into actionable business recommendations and executive-level insights.

  • Experience handling project coordination, stakeholder reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Professional fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory for bilingual client communication and reporting activities.
