Position: Accounting Manager (Japanese speaking)

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global firm specializing in risk management . Our client provides comprehensive support and safety programs to multinational corporations, ensuring the security and well-being of their employees operating globally. With a strong presence across the world, they offer a one-stop service encompassing risk prevention, emergency response, and customized insurance programs. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their finance department and play a crucial role in their continued success.

The Accounting Manager will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting operations. This role involves managing the preparation of financial statements for the parent company and consolidating group company accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and develop a team.

• Prepare and manage the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the consolidation of group companies' financials.
• Oversee and review daily accounting tasks, including journal entry checks and corrections, cash flow management, closing procedures, and expense reimbursement processing.
• Manage company funds and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee the management of loans, as well as accounts receivable and payable.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and serve as the point of contact for tax-related matters.
• Lead the consolidated financial closing process.
• Act as the primary liaison with external audit firms for the annual audit.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• • A minimum of 2 years of experience in international accounting practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience in preparing annual financial statements.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing annual financial audits.
• Languages:
  • JLPT N2 or about Japanese with at least one of the following languages in Business-level proficiency : English, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
