Job Role

The Business Development Manager (Live Streaming Platform) is responsible for expanding the company's creator ecosystem across Japan by acquiring, developing, and managing agency partners and live streamers.

This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, recruiting agency resources, supporting streamer growth, monitoring market trends, and driving sustainable business expansion through localized operational strategies and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Recruit, onboard, and manage agency partners to expand the live streaming ecosystem in Japan.
• 
  Develop strong relationships with talent agencies, MCNs, influencers, and content creators.
• 
  Identify and develop potential creators into high-performing agency partners through training and incentive programs.
• 
  Monitor market trends and provide localized business development strategies.
• 
  Track agency and streamer performance, including activity, revenue, retention, and engagement metrics.
• 
  Analyze business performance and recommend optimization strategies to improve ecosystem growth.
• 
  Collaborate with internal teams to execute market expansion initiatives.
• 
  Achieve assigned business development and growth targets.

Candidate Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Agency Management, Creator Partnerships, or Platform Operations.
• 
  Previous experience within live streaming platforms, short-video platforms, social networking apps, entertainment platforms, or creator economy businesses is highly preferred.
• 
  Existing relationships with livestreamers, KOLs, influencers, talent agencies, or MCN partners are a strong advantage.
• 
  Strong business development, negotiation, and partnership management skills.
• 
  Proven ability to independently drive partnerships and achieve business growth targets.
• 
  Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese is required.
• 
  Professional working proficiency in English is required.
• 
  Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders and headquarters.
• 
  Highly results-oriented with strong ownership, resilience, and analytical thinking.
