Identify new opportunities, build relationships, negotiate and win new business.
Commercial: Develop Key account management
Develop strategic account management : identify the strategic Japanese key accounts, establish in coordination with SEPPIC distributor a development strategy and action plan, coordinate customer’s projects within SEPPIC Corporate organization when necessary.
Support of the Development & Sales by the Multinational key accounts, in coordination with the Corporate key Account Managers
Commercial: Sales, Customer and Distributors Management
Guide and appraise the distributor’s performance :
negotiate annual targets & set up the annual action plan with the distributor
monitoring the distributor performance and perform an annual appraisal of the distributor business efficacy
motivate the distributor to keep their focus on our business development with necessary means.
Provide and/ or coordinate the product, technical and marketing tool training to the distributors when necessary.
Propose and implement a sales action plan :
Ensure accomplishment of sales targets (as defined in the budget). Monthly follow up of the sales achievement to the distributor and the end customer as well.
Implement the price management policy.
Support the distributor by developing a high level of technical expertise to its teams in order to provide excellent technical support to the customers.
Support the distributor in the sales promotion, participate to customers seminars, identify the strengths of SEPPIC ingredients in the Japanese formulations
Enhance a strong interaction with SEPPIC Beauty Care sales team: success stories and problem solvers sharing.
Propose appropriate working procedure within SEPPIC organization in order to improve our service to our distributor, customers, and sales performance
Support the sales assistant for debt collection when necessary
Customer management and service :
Increase the customer satisfaction by providing appropriate support and service in product, technical, problem solving.
Present to all key customers the Technical expertise of Seppic through the organization of In House seminars with specific guests from Seppic HQ or APAC
ODM/OEM develop a specific approach, so they can consider SEPPIC as a key partner in their quick development formulations.
Identify possible customers for WESOURCE exclusivity platforms (actives).
Marketing intelligence
Acquire a deep expertise in the Beauty Care market in Japan:
Develop & maintain close contacts with the main players : manufacturers, consultants, distributors, University / Institutes, Key opinion leaders…
Do a mapping of the market: size, growth, trends, segments, volumes of manufacturing
Manufacturers: number of companies, profiles, size of the key players, strategies,
Understand customers needs : products, price constraints, services, specific support..
Identify SEPPIC main competitors in Japan: products, price policy, structures, strengths, weaknesses…
Liaise with the Japanese regulatory authorities and propose appropriate working procedures in order to step up the registration of SEPPIC ingredients in Japan
Operational marketing
Coordinate the marketing actions to be implemented in order to boost and support the Beauty Care business in JAPAN:
Identify the specific marketing tools to be developed for the Japanese market by SEPPIC Asia Marketing team and/or SEPPIC Asia Customer Technical Service Center: brochures, exhibitions, events,formula prototypes.
Propose specific ingredients to be developed or adapted by SEPPIC Corporate BU Marketing &
Development team, for the Japanese market
2 years minimum in Personal Care business
2 to 5 year sales and marketing experience
Ideally 5 year experience in multinational company
Bachelor or Master degree in Science preferably in Chemistry, Biosciences, Pharma
