Ford/Lincoln of Cerritos is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial team member to oversee the upkeep and overall appearance of the dealership. This role is responsible for maintaining the building, electrical systems, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations, as well as assisting with miscellaneous errands and tasks across departments as directed.

*Must be available to work weekends and holidays*

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain Showroom Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, and polish floors; clean glass doors and windows; dust desks, furniture, and display vehicles; empty trash and recycling.
• Clean Offices & Customer Areas: Sanitize restrooms, vacuum carpets, wipe down waiting areas and break rooms, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Support Service Department: Clean locker rooms and restrooms, dispose of trash and shop materials properly, and keep walkways clear of spills and hazards.
• Maintain Exterior & Lot Areas: Clean sidewalks and entrances, remove litter and exterior trash, and wash dealership windows.
• Upkeep Employee Areas: Clean and disinfect break rooms, appliances, refrigerators, and microwaves; remove trash and maintain floors.
• Perform General Maintenance: Replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles, restock supplies, and report maintenance or repair needs to management.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to communicate quickly and effectively any issues/solutions/and updates to team members and vendors.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time & stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to handle a full shift of being active and working in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
