City Wide Facility Solutions has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Building Cleaners/Housekeepers at Unity Village in the Lee's Summit area!

No previous cleaning experience is required—we provide training! If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping facilities clean and welcoming, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities

As a Building Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for employees, residents, and visitors by performing duties such as:

• Arrive on time and prepared to perform scheduled duties.
• Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, meeting rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Dust furniture, ledges, baseboards, windowsills, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect hard floor surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, partitions, and floors.
• Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other dispensers.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other interior glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens when required (depending on assigned area).
• Clean and disinfect kitchens, break rooms, and dining areas.
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, railings, and elevator buttons.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Keep janitorial closets clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Safely operate vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, and other cleaning equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background & E-Verify checks
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and be very detailed
• Cleaning experience a plus
• Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor’s directions
• HS Diploma or GED
• Smart Phone

The physical requirements of this position include: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting and repeat cleaning motions; utilizing cleaning equipment and supplies; lift up to 35 lbs.
