The 3rd Shift Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing overnight janitorial operations to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and ready for use by the start of the next business day. This role supervises janitorial staff, assigns work, ensures quality standards are met, addresses issues in real time, and serves as the primary point of contact during overnight hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership
Supervise, train, and support overnight janitorial staff
Assign nightly work tasks and ensure proper staffing coverage
Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or corrective guidance as needed
Ensure staff follows company policies, safety procedures, and work standards
Conduct shift briefings and communicate expectations clearly
