Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Area Manager to oversee multiple janitorial sites in the Louisville area. This role supervises employees and site supervisors, ensures contract compliance, maintains safety standards, and serves as the communication link between the client, operations leadership, and HR.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone comfortable managing people, solving problems in real time, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Schedule:
Primarily 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Schedule may shift depending on business needs
Weekend availability required as needed
Key Responsibilities
Supervise janitorial staff and site supervisors across multiple locations
Ensure employees follow cleaning standards and company procedures
Perform regular inspections and quality checks
Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching
Enforce safety policies and compliance requirements
Communicate with clients regarding service and concerns
Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, discipline, and employee relations
Maintain staffing coverage and respond to operational needs
Address problems quickly and professionally
