Chalet Veterinary Clinic is Hiring a Janitor!

Position Details

• Role: Janitor
• Status: Part-time
• Salary: $15–$25 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 1.5 - 2 hours/day. start time has flexibility

Chalet Veterinary Clinic is a dedicated and compassionate animal care facility that strives to provide exceptional service to our clients and their pets. We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented after-hours janitorial staff member to join our team and ensure that our clinic remains spotless and sanitized after business hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize examination rooms, waiting areas, and office spaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of the waste properly
• Notify management of any repairs or maintenance required

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and efficiently after clinic hours.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual.

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour and will be based on any relevant experience and reputability. Must be reliable. Mature and hardworking high school students may be considered for the position. Duties typically take between 1 - 2 hours to complete and must be performed between the hours of 5:30pm and 10:00pm Monday through Friday.

Expected hours:

• 7 – 10 per week
• No Weekend Hours.
• We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
