Our History

Back in 1950, Robert Dethmers started Dethmers Manufacturing Company in a corner of an implement dealership. One of his first products was fertilizer application equipment for the agricultural industry.

Since the beginning, Demco has pursued a dream to fill needs, provide solutions, and compete in an existing marketplace. From Agriculture to Towing to Brake manufacturing, Demco has earned its place with the right combination of skill and technology needed to produce the best products available without compromise.

Today, as Demco continues to grow, our tradition of building quality products, employing talented, industrious people and providing attentive service remains. Our sales staff, along with our dealers and distributors across the United States, Canada and the world, carry on the standard.
