Job Description

To support the mission of Helio Health, Inc., the Janitor will provide routine maintenance and janitorial duties in Helio Health, Inc. programs and properties creating a consistently clean and orderly therapeutic environment.

The schedule will be day shift: Sunday-Thurs. The hours will be 7am-3:30p.

Pay Rate $17.22 per hour.

In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible to receive a Sign-On Incentive of up to $1,500.00!

Working Relationships:

• Takes direction from Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance and Director of Facilities Management and keeps them informed regarding content of work load.
• Consults with Division/Service Director regarding janitorial needs and reports needs to Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance.
• Responds to emergency situations when requested by Program Supervisor and/or Director of Facilities Management.
• Communicates with Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance regarding Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and janitorial duties necessary to provide a safe and sanitary environment.
• Monitors inventory of equipment and janitorial supplies.
• Notifies Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance of any situations which could pose a danger to clients/staff, or agency liability.
• Responsible for upkeep of Helio Health, Inc. grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Janitorial experience.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Physical effort is required, with lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of OSHA & SOS requirements.
