Location: Southpointe Villa, Rialto, CA
Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? RHF is seeking a Janitor to help maintain Southpointe Villa, a 100-unit senior residential community in Rialto, CA.
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the community and its common areas. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, pays attention to detail, works well independently, and is committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, employees, and visitors.
What You'll Do
As our Janitor, you will:
- Cleaning & Sanitizing: Perform daily cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and other community spaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins, properly dispose of waste, replace liners, and maintain clean and orderly waste areas.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Floor Care: Maintain tile, carpet, wood, and other flooring surfaces through vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning, waxing, buffing, and stripping as needed.
- Window & Glass Cleaning: Clean interior windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.
- Minor Maintenance: Perform minor tasks such as replacing light bulbs and tightening screws and report larger maintenance needs to the appropriate team.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow established safety procedures, properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment, and maintain access to Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Inventory Management: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Event & Special Project Support: Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for meetings and events and complete deep cleaning, seasonal cleaning, and other special projects as assigned.
- Nighttime Property Rounds: Conduct routine nighttime rounds throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, hallways, grounds, and parking areas.
- Safety & Security: Observe and report safety hazards, property damage, unusual activity, or other concerns to management. Document significant incidents and contact management or emergency services when necessary.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members and promptly report maintenance needs, hazards, or other concerns.
Qualifications
- Janitorial or custodial experience helpful but not required; training provided.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and techniques.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Effective communication with residents, staff, and supervisors.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning supplies.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
