Job Description

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a qualified Janitor to support our contract with our government customer in Indian Springs, Nevada.

The right candidate will perform duties on an approved cleaning schedules and associated tasking’s for prestige, basic, routine, and non-standard cleaning levels. Facilities to include but not limited to rest rooms, common hallways, offices, conference rooms, special purpose areas, entrances and exits.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform tasks assigned in a professional, courteous manner
  • Scrub and disinfect toilets, urinals, drinking fountains, showers, toilet doors, and other bathroom fixtures according to cleaning schedules. Remove all bathroom trash.
  • Restock bathroom supplies, soap, paper towels, toilet paper as needed
  • Sweep and mop bathroom floors with a water and disinfectant solution
  • Offices, hallways, kitchens, , conference rooms, entrances/exits Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, remove trash as per individual buildings cleaning schedules.
  • Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Assist in cleaning landscaping, sidewalks, parking, and smoking areas.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work environment involves repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time. Work may involve hazardous noise areas. May be required to perform work using and/or wearing protective equipment. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and risk of electrical shock.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

High school degree or equivalent is desirable.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

One year directly related facility janitorial experience preferred. Possess familiarity with equipment, including vacuums, floor polisher, and carpet steam cleaners. Ability to read and follow basic instructions. Position requires the ability to qualify for and maintain a government Secret Security Clearance. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

  • $29.92 per hour
  • The compensation range or hourly rate provided is a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and applicable laws.
