Primary Purpose: Perform routine cleaning of the building. Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the building. Drive truck/van for collection of donations for Pantry or other Corps Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience in driving 14-foot box trucks, including trucks into close spaces, such as docks and alleys.

Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be able to obtain and keep current DOT compliant certifications.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical requirements include good speaking, hearing and vision ability and excellent manual dexterity. Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate vehicles and forklift, and other storage movement equipment. Working Conditions: The environment is where the clients are so it might be loud or busy at times. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions and varying temperatures. The work environment is in vehicles and areas with near moving mechanical parts and loud noise. The environmental conditions include exposure to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
