Job Description

Mpower Direct is looking for a part-time janitor to maintain the cleanliness of our office. The janitor will work to ensure the upkeep and safety of the office under the supervision of the office manager.

The ideal candidate is comfortable as a team player who can take and follow directions and promote a safe work environment for all. The candidate should also be comfortable in a role that is physically demanding, as some duties may require lifting 20 pounds or more, standing, sitting, bending, and walking. The position will also require minor handyman skills for small jobs around the office.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Clean the interior of building including floors, windows and walls
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Clean and maintain restrooms
• Washing and clean windows and mirrors
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
• Dust furniture and fixtures

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Pay: $11/hour
