Starting Pay: $23.53/hour + $1.00/hour 3rd Shift Premium
3rd Shift Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

As a 3rd Shift Janitorial team member, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the professional appearance of all production areas of the physical plant and maintaining washroom and lunchroom supplies. Administrative offices are excluded.

  • Emptying trash, including paint as needed.

  • Maintaining debris-free aisles.

  • Performing indoor and outdoor debris checks and cleanup.

  • Participating in recycling according to established guidelines.

  • Operating powered and non-powered cleaning equipment.

  • Performing daily routine maintenance inspections of cleaning equipment to help ensure reliability and effectiveness.

  • Assisting in the selection and ordering of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

  • Delivering office supplies as needed to designated areas.

  • Operating various equipment in the performance of duties, including a forklift, sweeper, and compactor

  • Performing eye wash station checks, documentation, and cleaning according to the established schedule.

  • Assisting with snow and ice removal to maintain safe entry and exit points around the facility.

Additional Expectations of Every Employee

  • Complete all required paperwork, including labor reporting and documentation of eye wash station inspections.

  • Work safely and maintain the work area with high standards of housekeeping.

  • Perform required preventive maintenance activities on machinery and/or equipment operated.

  • Train and/or assist in the development of personnel.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to become forklift certified

  • Ability to read and write

  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; lifting devices are available and recommended

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous janitorial experience or related training
