The Office of Juvenile Justice is seeking a passionate and student-focused JAG Instructor to help youth develop the academic, leadership, and employability skills needed for long-term success. This position is ideal for an educator or workforce development professional who enjoys mentoring students, building community partnerships, and helping young people achieve their personal and career goals.
As a JAG Instructor, you will provide classroom instruction, career readiness training, and individualized support designed to help students graduate, develop workplace skills, and successfully transition into employment, post-secondary education, or other positive life pathways. You will serve as an advocate, mentor, and role model while coordinating activities that promote leadership, personal growth, and career exploration.

It is the responsibility of the JAG Specialist to provide relevant and challenging classroom and work-based learning experiences for the required number of participants per the selected JAG model. The JAG Specialist should be committed to developing students' personal, leadership and employability skills to ensure graduation from high school and positive post-graduate outcomes.

Compensation: $36.18/hr
