Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in interlocking design and railway signalling in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering safe and efficient signalling solutions that shape the future of railway mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, validation and verification, and testing teams), contribute to design reviews, and ensure quality and safety standards are met at every stage.
You’ll specifically take care of producing design scheme plan layouts, Control Tables, and hardware configuration drawings, but also prepare diagnostic application data and signaling equipment room layouts.
We’ll look to you for:
Delivering design scheme plan layouts, Control Tables, safe HMI layouts, signaling logic application data, hardware configuration drawings, cable core plans, signaling equipment room layouts, and diagnostic application data
Ensuring the application and adherence to reference application design methods and tools, and requesting deviations in cooperation with the Project IXL Design Leader when necessary
Actively participating in IXL detailed design review meetings and providing activity progress reports
Organizing and producing design documentation, software, and hardware design deliveries in accordance with project templates and requirements
Supporting the Project IXL Design Leader and Project V&V Manager in resolving design issues and debugging
Analyzing and managing design change requests and defining the hardware and software packages to be delivered to the V&V, installation, and Testing & Commissioning teams
Ensuring independence between design and verification activities

Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
Experience or understanding of railway signalling principles and interlocking systems
Knowledge of design tools and methodologies relevant to railway signalling
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the rail industry
A certification in railway signalling design or related fields
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
