Could you be the full-time IXL Application Engineer Leader in Morocco we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your railway signalling expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, detail-oriented, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality of our railway signalling studies while maintaining a strong focus on meeting costs and deadlines. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and client-facing teams), manage input data throughout the study cycle, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for our processes, methods, and tools.
You’ll specifically take care of designing and verifying signalling studies for stations and railway sections, but also provide technical solutions and mentor less experienced team members.
We’ll look to you for:
Designing or verifying railway signalling studies (PR, PT, EXE, Param) for new installations or modifications to operational systems
Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, processes, costs, and deadlines
Managing and integrating input data throughout the study cycle
Interfacing with project coordinators, clients, and technical teams to ensure progress and alignment
Analyzing and proposing solutions for specific technical challenges and lessons learned
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, methods, and tools
Providing guidance and training to less experienced team members
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Degree in engineering (Bac+5) or equivalent
Proven experience in railway signalling systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of applicable standards and safety requirements in the railway industry
Familiarity with technologies such as PAI and ETCS1
Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Proactive approach to continuous improvement
Fluency in French; English proficiency is a plus
Things you’ll enjoy
Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
Work with advanced technologies in railway signalling
Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
Contribute to innovative projects that impact communities
Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning programs
Progress towards leadership or technical expert roles
Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
