Thales is a global technology leader trusted by governments, institutions, and enterprises to tackle their most demanding challenges. From quantum applications and artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and 6G innovation, our solutions empower critical decisions rooted in human intelligence. Operating at the forefront of defence and security, aerospace and space, cybersecurity and digital identity, we’re driven by a mission to build a future we can all trust.
In Romania, we are advancing innovation through software engineering, research and development, delivering solutions in key markets in which Thales Group operates. Our engineers design, develop and integrate solutions that impact global industries – from fully operational systems and subsystems for naval warfare and maritime security operations, to air traffic management systems, satellite-based solutions, tactical indoor simulations, identity and biometric technologies and more.
The ITM Project aims to build a resilient and flexible ICT infrastructure that enhances business continuity and disaster recovery. It prioritizes replacing the legacy NS network with a modernized ITM Operational Network (ON) across the NATO Command Structure. The initiative transforms NATO’s IT operations from a decentralized model—characterized by distributed networks, server rooms, and local support—into a centralized approach with standardized services, centralized provisioning (IaaS), and a centralized ESOC managing infrastructure and service operations. This modernization enhances efficiency, security, and service consistency.
The IVV ITM team role is to integrate and assure that the new features, requirements and bug fixes are implemented correctly (no new defects were introduced from one release to another). You will receive and analyze Dev team delivery (to accept or reject based on specific criteria), integrate the delivery following installation procedure on reference platform based in NATO facilities (Integration can be either remotely and/or in NATO facilities).
