Job Description

Constance Halaveli is a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking a dedicated and professional IVD Host to join our exceptional team. As an In-Villa Dining Host, you will play a crucial role in delivering an unparalleled dining experience to our discerning guests within the comfort and privacy of their villas.

• Provide impeccable in-villa dining service, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction
• Take and process guest orders accurately, communicating effectively with the kitchen team
• Set up elegant dining arrangements within guest villas, paying meticulous attention to detail
• Present and serve food and beverages with grace and professionalism
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
• Ensure proper handling and presentation of food and beverages
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with tact and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong communication abilities in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Physical stamina to work long hours and carry trays and equipment
• Basic computer skills for processing orders and maintaining records
• 1-2 years of experience in hospitality or food service; luxury resort experience is preferred
• Understanding of international cuisines and dietary requirements
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and etiquette
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
