We are responsible for operating, managing, and upgrading 14 Regional Airports in the most attractive destinations in Greece!

If you feel fit the role’s requirements, apply for the “ IT&T Service Desk Agent” The ideal candidate will promptly and effectively support end users of the IT&T services, addressing inquiries and issues that may arise.

The role is located in our premises at Marousi, Athens.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as the first point of contact of the IT&T Service Desk for all end users, providing technical support on-site and remotely.
  • Register tickets in the ITSM platform on incidents, service requests/queries and technical issues, ensuring the timely resolution within the respective Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and to the customers’ satisfaction.
  • Implement the tickets’ resolution such as de-installation, installation, configuration and commissioning of equipment, software updates and replacement of parts, consumables, etc. according to the manufacturer’s and IT&T guidelines.
  • Engage the Second Level Support personnel and the provider/manufacturer of the IT&T systems or perform escalation actions based on IT&T operational procedures, if required.
  • Monitor IT&T systems and infrastructure availability through the corporate monitoring tool.
  • Receive, safe keep and record IT&T hardware assets.
  • Install/Move/Add/Change/Dispose (IMACD) of IT&T assets.
  • Dispatch critical notifications to users and customers.
  • Maintain and update IT&T knowledge base.
  • Prepare activity ad hoc or standard reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Systems/Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in Aviation.
  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English on both an oral and written level.
  • Experience with ITSM ticketing systems.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in IT hardware & software installation and systems, including databases, office applications and operating systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of and experience regarding IT&T systems and networks.
  • ITIL, Network and System certification would be considered an asset.
  • Available to work in 24x7x365 shifts.
  • Fulfilled Military Obligations, if applicable.

On 11th April 2017 full payment of the €1.234 billion upfront concession fee was made by Fraport Greece in tandem with the transfer of operations at the 14 airports for a period of 40 years.

In tandem with the start-up of its concession for managing the eleven island and the three mainland airports across Greece, Fraport Greece realized a comprehensive plan for the modernization and development of the airports.

Fraport Greece’s innovative €440 million airport development program has significantly transformed these airports. In particular, Fraport Greece has delivered five brand new terminals, expanded and modernized five existing terminals, and upgraded four other terminals. Construction projects at airside operational areas of the regional airports included renovating 12 runways, improving ramp areas, and constructing and renovating 12 fire stations. All of the airports have also been equipped with new state-of-the-art baggage handling and security systems.

The 14 Greek regional airports project is one of the largest and most beneficial investments and is a basis for boosting the Greek economy. Fraport Greece enhances the airports’ international competitiveness by the optimization of operational processes, the modernization and upgrade of the airports’ infrastructure and the continuous training of employees.
