Yara Belle Plaine is a world class producer of nitrogen fertilizer located 50 kms west of Regina on highway #1. Responsibilities

  • Provide primary on-site IT support to end users through phone, email, chat, and in-person assistance, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs and OLAs.
  • Monitor and manage ServiceNow queues, maintaining accurate ticket updates, asset records, and ensuring disciplined closure of requests.
  • Perform IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, and Disposal) activities for workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, LAN equipment, servers, and other IT assets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues, providing hands-on support when remote resolution is not possible.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Power BI, and related services.
  • Install, configure, and maintain local business applications and user accounts, while diagnosing application errors, crashes, and compatibility issues.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders, contributing to IT projects, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and knowledge databases while training end users on IT workplace solutions and promoting adherence to corporate IT policies, standards, and governance.

Education, Experience & Skill

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related field; ITIL and Microsoft certifications considered an asset, with relevant experience able to compensate for formal education.
  • Hands-on experience in IT support, including hardware, software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Request, Access, and Knowledge Management.
  • Experience supporting network infrastructure, IT operations tools, monitoring systems, and remote support technologies.
  • Customer-focused IT support experience with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with end users and stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, process-oriented, highly organized professional with the ability to manage priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
