We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant specalist

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure technology projects and service improvement initiatives from initiation to closure.
  • Manage project governance including scope, plans, RAID, dependencies, milestones, and delivery reporting.
  • Coordinate delivery across engineering, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Produce executive-ready status updates, decision papers, and ensure alignment to risk, security, and operational resilience expectations.
  • Drive ITSM process maturity with a focus on Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
  • Facilitate post-incident reviews and problem investigations, ensuring RCA leads to preventative actions and reduced recurrence.
  • Improve change quality (risk assessment, scheduling, approvals, communications) to reduce failed changes and service impact; define and track service KPIs (e.g., MTTR, change success rate).
  • Use operational and project data (including AI/ML opportunities) to identify trends, prioritise backlogs, and deliver measurable improvements in IT operations (e.g., incident triage, anomaly detection, predictive capacity).

To be successful, you will:

  • Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure projects (compute, storage, databases, data centre, cloud, platform services).
  • Strong working knowledge of ITSM with hands-on experience in Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead stakeholder forums/working groups and drive outcomes through influence.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret operational/project data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions with measurable benefits.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical application in IT operations or service management, including defining success metrics and adoption plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and decision support.
  • Experience with infrastructure operations/support and common ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent).
  • Nice to have: ITIL certification, Agile/hybrid delivery experience, and exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
